Jean M. (Duda) Miller

Jean M. Miller, of Tamaqua and formerly of Brockton, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, in her home. She was the wife of the late Ronald L. Miller Sr. for 42 years until his passing on October 23, 2019. Prior to retiring, she was the Postmaster for the Mary D Post Office, where she worked for 17 years, and previously worked at the Brockton Post Office for 3 years. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Marvella B. (Welsh) Duda. She was of Protestant faith. Jean enjoyed making homemade greeting cards. She loved going on excursions with her daughter-in-law, Christa. Jean was also preceded in death by her beloved and faithful grand dog Bongo, and brother-in-law, Willie Bernheisel. Surviving are her son, Ronald L. Miller Jr. and his wife Christa, of Mary D; two brothers, John Duda, of Lansford, and Richard Duda and his wife, Linda, of New Ringgold; sister, Theresa Bernheisel, of New Ringgold; nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Private service with Vicar Brian Buzik and LLM Emma L. Weaver officiating. Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
