Arvilla E. (Ginder) Fritz

Arvilla Fritz, 92, of Lehighton, died Monday morning in Pleasant Trees Personal Care Home, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late Mark Fritz. Prior to retiring, she worked at the former Drumheller’s Mills, Lehighton, and at the Blue Mountain Christian Retreat, New Ringgold. Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Norma (Wehr) Ginder. Arvilla was a member of Ben Salem UCC of Lehighton. She enjoyed sewing, which included numerous quilts. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Morgan, and four sisters, Florence, Hazel, Erma and Myrtle. Surviving are a daughter, Nadine Hausman of Slatington; a sister Joyce Dromsky of Mainland; and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Ben Salem UCC, 1965 Church Hill Rd, Lehighton, PA 18235, with the Rev. Michael McGowan officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10 to 11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Ben Salem UCC, P.O. Box 128, Andreas, PA 18211.
