Carol A. Carman, 77, of Whitehall, Pa, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Elizabeth (Sommerfield) O’Beirne. Prior to retiring, she worked for the Microsoft Corporation. Carol was of the Catholic faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Eileen, Margaret, Renee and Pat, and two brothers, Don and Thomas "Doc". Carol is survived by two sons, Michael O’Beirne, of Arkansas, and Sean Amato and his wife Michelle, of Portland, Maine; a sister, Nancy, wife of Frank Galletto, of Bricktown, NJ; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
