David W. Hartman

David W. Hartman, 53, of New Ringgold, died Thursday, June 1,  2017, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of  Bernice (Jordan) Hartman. They celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on November 3, 2016. He was previously employed as a diesel mechanic for Custom Diesel Service and Mack Trucks, Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Eleanor (Neitz) Hartman of Bethlehem and the late George Hartman. He was of the Protestant faith. David enjoyed all types of music, working on cars, dirt bikes and ATVs. He was a hands on type of guy, very mechanically inclined and was always building or working on numerous projects. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sgt. Jennifer M. Hartman. Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son, Brian and a daughter, Katie, wife of Benedetto Romano, all of New Ringgold; two brothers, Michael, FL. and Scott, Allentown; two sisters, Peggy Novrosky, Allentown, and Nancy Novrosky, WI.;  a niece and nephew. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
