I worked with Harold since 1972 on street patrol til the time he retired. I then retired in 2009 with 37 yrs.of service.had lots of comraderie back in that era and rotating shifts had lots of crazy events happening. myself and wife actually stopped at your house yrs.ago after a trip to Heislers dairy bar for a visit.sorry for your loss will always remember the time we worked together. Rest In Peace Harold. Every time I think of Harold I remember the time we were assigned to an overnight stakeout together as very young patrolmen. We were placed in a residence in Reading and told that a very dangerous armored car robber, who had shot and killed the guards of the armored car would be returning there, the home of his girlfriend, who he used as a shield when cornered. You get to know someone pretty well in a situation like that and I was glad to have Harold as my partner. We later served as Street Sergeants together. My sincerest condolences to the entire family on the loss of a truly good man.
