Nicholas C. Stolfi

Nicolas C. Stolfi, 81, of New Ringgold, died Monday, May 13, 2019 in Lehighton. He was the husband of Maria (Peretti) Stolfi. They celebrated 57 years of marriage on October 28, 2018. Prior to retiring, he was employed by the US Postal Service as a mail carrier for 33 years in New Jersey. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Joseph and Philamina (Gagliardi) Stolfi. He was a member of New Life Assembly of God, Tamaqua. He was an Army veteran. He loved his wife and family and enjoyed fishing. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Glenn and his wife Lauren, of Long Branch, NJ; two daughters, Donna, wife of William Latta, of Metuchen, NJ, and Linda Stolfi, of Metuchen, NJ; a sister, JoAnne, wife of Edward Friend, of Egg Harbor, NJ; three grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:30pm on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Route 309, New Ringgold, Pa 17960, with the Rev. Ed Noftz officiating. Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 1pm to 2:30pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
