Norma C. (Martin) Baker

Norma C. Baker, 79, of Andreas, died October 8, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Jerry E. Baker. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on January 23. Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Emma (Young) Martin. Norma was a member of Christ Evangelical Free Church, Lehighton. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, always diligent in providing for the needs of her family. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy and her husband Paul Sanders, brother, Dennis Martin, three sisters, Martha Bauchman, Mary Ava Beck and Ruth Naugle. Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Jerry Jr. and his wife Lisa, of Hokes Bluff, AL, Dennis and his wife Starr, of Plattsburgh, NY, and Joseph and his wife Regina, of Waynesville, MO; sister, Ellen McGee, of Hollidaysburg; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10 am on October 13, 2018, at the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold, with Rev. Greg Laible officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 8-10am. Interment in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
