Carol Faust Obituary

Carol A. Faust, 70, of Andreas, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at home with her family by her side. Our Carol was a loving, wonderful, and beautiful person.  She was happy, caring, and fun loving. She loved everyone and everyone who met her loved her too. She was the wife of Marvin Faust, the love of her life. They were married on May 24, 1975 for 45 wonderful years. She was a devoted homemaker who loved cooking, baking, making candy, and painting. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Arlene (Schlosser) Schenkel. She was a member of St. Peter’s Church, West Penn. Carol was the life of the party. She loved life and she loved to party. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by family and friends. The family always looked forward to the annual trip to Ocean City, Maryland with Auntie Carol. There was always laughter and fun-loving antics at the beach which she loved so much. Auntie Carol taught many a child and some adults to swim. She loved the water and the sun! Auntie Carol loved to travel with family and friends. She even made new friends along the way! We will always remember the fun we had with Mom/Sis/Auntie Carol on fishing trips to Michigan, Massachusetts, Hawaii, New York, Disney World, Elk County, trips out west and especially cruises to the Caribbean of which there were many. She will be forever remembered for her kind heart and the love and laughter she shared with her family and friends. Carol will be forever in our hearts. She had two beautiful children, son, Marvy who tragically pre-deceased her and, daughter, Lisa, wife of Thomas Bartasavage, and two beautiful grandchildren, Brittney and Thomas III, where she was the biggest supporter of their sports and life endeavors. Carol also left behind three sisters, Diana, wife of Darvin Faust, Shirley, wife of Marlin Faust, and Dorothy “Derf”, wife of Dean Faust; a brother, Richard “Dickie” and his wife Doreen, all of Andreas and whom she loved fiercely. She left behind countless nieces and nephews who fondly referred to her as “Auntie Carol”. Services will be held at 10am on Monday, May 10, at the Overcomer’s Holiness Church, 347 Lizard Creek Rd., Andreas, PA 18211, with Rev. E. Clifford Taylor and Rev. Russell Snyder officiating. Calling hours at the church Sunday, from 5-8pm and Monday, 9-10am. Interment in St. Peter’s Church Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Overcomers Holiness Church.
