Dennis H. Frye

Dennis H. Frye, 56, of New Ringgold, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Posh) Frye. They were married on September 2, 2004 and celebrated 17 years of marriage. He was employed as a Project Manager/Estimator for JVI Group, Inc., of York Springs. Born in Pottsville, he was the son of Diane (Haupt) Frye and the late Harold E. “Scookie” Frye. He was a member of Christ Church, McKeansburg. He served honorably with the Air Force National Guard and reached the rank of Sergeant. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in the outdoors and hunting with his dogs Hermy and Lily. He loved to travel on his motorcycles, snowmobiles and going on hunting and fishing trips. He was a member of Pine Creek Fishing Club, McKeansburg, Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, Mush Dahl Pheasant Hunting Club, West Penn Township, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the New Ringgold Fire Co. Surviving in addition to his wife, Nancy and mother, Diane, are three sons, Jacob, of Andreas, Zachary and his wife, Kelly and Bradley and his wife, Emily, both of Schuylkill Haven; two sisters, Michele, wife of Michael Mohn, of Mohnton and Joy, wife of David Sherer, of Pottsville; three grandchildren, Holley, Astrid, and Kali; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, December 1, at Christ Church, 1751 Chestnut St., New Ringgold, PA 17960, with Rev. Sunny Stock officiating. Calling hours 11am to 2pm. Interment in the church cemetery. At the family’s request, masks should be worn and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
