Obituary

Dennis R. Kalish, 76, of Tamaqua, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Paulette (Paukovits) Kalish. Prior to retiring, he was employed as a line mechanic for over 30 years at Kraft Foods, Fogelsville. Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Vincent and Hazel (McMichael) Kalish. He was of Protestant faith. Dennis was a member of the Tamaqua Rifle and Pistol Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, Robert Kalish and his wife, Stephanie, of Charlotte, NC, Michael Davis, and his wife Roxanne, of New Tripoli, Eric Davis, and his wife, Allison, of Walnutport, and Todd Davis, of Tamaqua; a daughter, Denise, wife of Donald Ressler, of New Ringgold; six grandchildren, Chandler, Deidra, Madison, Jack, Logan, and Ethan. A memorial visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8pm on Friday, June 24, 2022, at the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold. Private service for the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
