Doris M. (Reinhart) Breiner

Doris M. Breiner, 77, of New Ringgold, died Friday, April 27, 2018, in St Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of LeRoy Breiner. They celebrated 37 years of marriage. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a sewing machine operator at Classtex Mills, Orwigsburg, the former Scotty’s Fashion and Tom’s Sportswear, Lehighton, and self-employed with her own company, BT Fashions. She also was employed as a forklift operator for DSC Logistics, Breinigsville, and as a waitress for City View Diner, Allentown. Born in West Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late Russell Sr. and Margaret M. (O’Gorman) Reinhart. Doris was of the Protestant faith. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Jones and Jean Ganly, three brothers, Richard, Clifford and James. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Willard Bernheisel, of Walnutport, and his fiancée Jayann Eckley; a brother, Russell Jr. and his wife Andrea, of Fl.; three sisters, Marian Shellhammer, of New Ringgold, Laverne, wife of Joseph Haas, of Andreas, and Linda, wife of Leroy Lorah, of Andreas; nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold, with David S. Llewellyn officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9-11am. Private interment will be in United Brethren Church Cemetery, New Ringgold.
