Francis C. “Frank” Keiser, 84, of New Ringgold, formerly a lifelong resident of Park Crest, Barnesville, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 in his home. He was the husband of Loretta “Lori” (Wagner) Keiser. They celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on May 1. Prior to retiring, he was employed for 30 years as an aircraft mechanic at the former Reading Aviation and Allegheny Airlines. Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late Francis and Rose (Brentari) Keiser. He was one of the oldest members of St. Richard’s Catholic Church, Barnesville. He was an Air Force veteran and served four years. Frank graduated from Mahanoy Township High School, Class of 1956 and Teterboro School of Aeronautics, NJ. He was a lifetime member and a truck driver for the Ryan Township Vol. Fire Co. Frank had a great sense of humor. Previously he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Nora Keiser. Surviving in addition to his wife, are two brothers, Jerry Keiser, of Pine Grove and Jack Keiser, of Hazleton; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am, in St. Richard’s Catholic Church, 799 Barnesville Dr, Barnesville, PA 18214, on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Private interment in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
