Francis E. “Peck” “Frank” Zehner, 65, of New Ringgold, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 in his home. He was the husband of Barbara (Holland) Zehner. They were married on September 11, 2004 and celebrated 17 years of marriage. Prior to retiring, he was employed at Remmy Pallet Co., Lehighton, and Cotter and Co., Fogelsville, for 32 years. Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Marlin G. and Betty Jane (Williams) Zehner. Peck was a longtime member of the West Penn Rod and Gun Club. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth “Kenny” and Terry. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Heather, wife of Ammon “Mike” Hartwell, of Tamaqua; three stepsons, Thomas Ford and his wife, Virginia, of Stroudsburg, Angelo Zervos, of Tamaqua, and Pete Zervos, of Bethlehem; two brothers, Gary and his wife Jean Marie, of Andreas, and Brett, of Clamtown; two sisters, Nancy Zehner, of South Tamaqua, and Sandra, wife of Joe Fritz, of Clamtown; mother-in-law, Catherine Hill, of Orwigsburg; two grandchildren, Kayla and Damon Hartwell; two step grandchildren, Samantha Edmonds and Brandon Zervos; nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held from 5- 7pm on Wednesday, December 29, at the Hartman Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to West Penn Rod and Gun Club, 1047 Clamtown Rd., Tamaqua, PA 18252.
