Gloria Jean (Jeffery) Nester

Gloria J. Nester, 79, of Orwigsburg, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Kenneth C. Nester. They were married on June 17, 1967 and celebrated 56 years of marriage. Gloria was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to working on the family dairy farm. Born in Schuylkill Township, Mary D, she was the daughter of the late Grace Jeffery. Gloria loved the close relationship she had with her family. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Surviving in addition to her husband Kenneth, are two sons, Kevin K., and his wife Lisa, of Hamburg, and their son, Matthew, and Keith C., of Orwigsburg; brother, Norman Gould, and his wife Gwen, of Mary D; two sisters, Beverly, wife of Gary Kutz, of Tamaqua, and Beth Ann, wife of Gerald Throop, of Hazleton; and nieces and nephews. Graveside service for family and close friends will be held at 10am Friday, March 8, 2024, in the cemetery at Christ Church McKeansburg, 1751 Chestnut St., New Ringgold, with Rev.
