Judy Bowman Obituary

Judy A. Bowman, 78, of Lehighton, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022, in Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hazle Township. She was the widow of Robert W. Bowman, who died on December 18, 2014. Born in Plattsburgh, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. Sr. and Margaret (Cootware) Frehulfer. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Lehighton, where she formerly was a receptionist for the church rectory. Judy was a volunteer for the MS Society and an avid bowler. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice McCaskill. Surviving are three sons, Keith, of White Haven, Craig, and his wife, Dawn, of Lehighton, Charlie, and his wife, Melissa, of Allentown; daughter, Deanna Barlip, of Lansford; brother, Robert Frehulfer Jr., and his wife, Mary, of Middleport, FL; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be private. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 30 South 17th Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
