Raymond H. Nice Jr.

Raymond H. Nice Jr., 77, of Tamaqua, died Thursday, December 24, 2020, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Patricia (Mackes) Nice. They were married on June 17, 1993 and celebrated 27 years of marriage. He was a lifelong truck driver employed with Penske Trucking and previously with Ryder Trucking. He also owned and operated a bicycle shop in Pennsburg. Born in Spinnerstown, he was the son of Beaulah (Trumbower) Calabretti, of Richlandtown, and the late Raymond H. Nice. He was a member of St. John’s Church of Faith, Allentown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycle drag racing. Surviving in addition to his wife, are four stepchildren; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters, Rose, wife of Harold Haas, of Kintnersville, and Patricia Gallo, of Richlandtown; nieces and nephews.
