Rosalie (Adams) Jones

Rosalie Jones, 72, of Lehighton, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, in the Hospice Inpatient Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of Rowland J. Jones. They celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary on July 28th. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Wynne and Ophelia (Nardone) Adams. Prior to retirement, she was a technician for Verizon for 25 years. She was of the Catholic faith. Rosalie enjoyed embroidery. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Vincent Antone of Palm Coast, Fl, and Christopher Chesney and his wife Christine, of Cranford, NJ; a step daughter, Alison Jones DeSalvo, of Manahawkin, NJ; two brothers, Richard, of Forked River, NJ, and Robert and his wife Debra, of Auburn; a sister, Rita Brew, of Walnutport; three grandchildren, Hailey, Gavin and Logan, two nieces, Lora and Maryann and a nephew, Robert. A memorial service will be held at 3pm Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Salem Bible Fellowship Church, 1105 Fredericks Grove Road, Lehighton, with Pastor Robert Johnson officiating. Friends may call on Saturday at the church from 2-3pm. Contributions may be made in her name to the church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
