Sharon B. Schlosser, 67, of West Penn Township, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of Walter “Wally” Schlosser. They celebrated 48 years of marriage. She was employed by KNF, Inc. Tamaqua. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Arlene (Knepper) Kunkel. She was a member of St. John’s UCC, Tamaqua. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, camping, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest, John, Kenneth, and Lamar, and three sisters, Shirley Moyer, Carolyn Rumble, and Elizabeth Bechtel. Surviving in addition to her husband, are a son, Walter Schlosser Jr., and his companion, Lauren Zimmerman, of Brockton; daughter, Tammy, wife of Don Stark, of Philadelphia; sister, Debra, wife of Michael Simmons, of Lehighton; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11am on Friday, January 29, at the Hartman Funeral Home, New Ringgold, with Rev. Brent Lenhart officiating. Call 10-11am. Private interment.
